Job Description:
Account Manager job in Minnesota, USA; You are expected to know the entire contract and ensure that it is approved and executed. This position duties and responsibility includes
• Manage your account as a business. Identify opportunities to improve
profitability, reduce cost, grow volume, change pricing,
introduce new products and/or features or exit. You are expected to know your account's projected and historical revenue and
profitability and have written objectives to improve profitability at all
times.
• Provide direct management and leadership w/ Contracted Consulting Partners related to Retail account.
• Grow key retail accounts and implement the vision for increased sales & profitability through unparalleled account management.
• Negotiate all terms of the contract. You are expected to understand the
implications on finance and supply chain and coordinate with
internal departments and management to negotiate the terms of the agreement.
• Analyze reporting to identify and leverage opportunities to maximize
results, communicate information to store teams & outside
Consulting Partner. Develop and implement effective business plans to
maximize identified opportunity and achieve performance goals
set by management and corporate partners.
• Establish pricing using product price lists or experience and knowledge of cost and market conditions with manager approval.
• Create and implement fresh strategies for developing market share through identifying opportunities via customer base analysis,
segmentation and prioritization.
• Develop and execute innovative strategies for building long-lasting
business relationships and loyalty, while driving increased profits.
• Partner with Retail Buyers, Managers and Business Partners to educate,
energize and leverage store teams and channel partners to
identify and maximize customer solution and service opportunities, with both
new and existing customer relationships.
• Monitor the CRM application to ensure accuracy and completeness of all client contact and purchase information, and ensure
compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Be well prepared in advance of line reviews. Clearly define objectives &
review them with management prior to all major line reviews.
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with customer management channels
to coordinate support services and corporate programs.
• Interact with local business community through participation in local
meetings and events.
• Conduct onsite visits with high profile customers as appropriate.
Qualification and Requirement:
• Currently based in Minneapolis area.
• Bachelors Degree.
• Previous experience working for or with Best Buy and/or Target.
• Experience in sales preferably w/ these accounts, but definitely within
the consumer electronics industry.
• Experience in supporting strategic initiatives and selling
collaboratively with business or channel partners.
