Job Description:

I.T jobs in Texas, CTG is currently searching for a Senior SQL Database Programmer/Analyst for a key client in North Austin to perform data mining activities.

This will be a long term W2 contract position with a Fortune 100 company. Responsibilities • Writing complex SQL statements and heavy data mining activities.

• Will be charged with digging through data to develop summary tables. He or she will 'churn' and analyze data in the current Decision Support Services (DSS) database.

Qualification and Requirement: winning candidate will possess the following

• Must be able to write complex SQL or custom SQL statements from scratch. Client environment is DB2 / AIX.

• The ideal candidate will have worked in large database environments and will have very strong, complex, SQL development skills.

• Must have worked in a large database environment and be able to operate in a UNIX environment. • Candidate must have strong communication skills, good documentation, and must work well in a small team.
